A Midsummer Night's Dream is a play written by William Shakespeare around 1595, dealing with Oberon, Titania, and Puck. (It also includes Theseus, the slayer of the Minotaur, in its cast of characters.)

Greg Weisman has mentioned that some of the events of the play did take place in the Gargoyles universe, although Oberon and Titania were not yet married by that point in time and the ruler of the Third Race was still Queen Mab.[1][2] Greg has also suggested that the Indian changeling boy over whom Oberon and Titania squabble in the play is actually the biological son of Oberon by a human woman.[3]
