A special thanks to Cary was given in the credits to the comic book story "The Flashback of Notre Dame" (written by Greg Weisman and penciled by Christopher Jones) from the 2000 one shot JLA Showcase.
In 2017, Cary Bates and Greg Weisman reunited as writing partners with The Fall and Rise of Captain Atom. [1]
