ChacIxChel is the home of the Mayan Clan of gargoyles in Guatemala.
This word may refer to the actual Mayan Pyramid the clan inhabits, but more likely it is meant to indicate the area around the pyramid, or the location of the pyramid.
Real World Background
The name ChacIxChel appears to contain the names of two Mayan gods, although this could be a coincidence.
