The Cloisters

Cloisters - A branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, specializing in medieval art. It stands in Tryon Park, overlooking the Hudson River, and is composed of various pieces of medieval monasteries from France and Spain, purchased and imported by John D. Rockefeller, who founded this museum.
