In the course of their "Dirty Dozen"-style adventures, they encounter many familiar figures from "Gargoyles", such as the [[terrorist]]s from "''[[City of Stone Part One]]''" (in the course of which we would learn what their cause was), the [[Pack]], [[John Castaway|Castaway]] and the [[Quarrymen]], and even [[Goliath]]'s clan.
