Greg Weisman on the Gargoyles: Season Two, Volume One DVD.

Greg Weisman (BA Stanford, MPW U.S.C.) has been a storyteller all his life. [1][2] His first professional work was as an Associate Editor and Freelance Writer for DC Comics, where he worked on the Captain Atom title, among others.

Greg worked at Walt Disney Television Animation from 1989 through 1996. He rose through the ranks to become Director of Series Development for the division, working on such diverse properties as Darkwing Duck, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, TaleSpin, Bonkers, Raw Toonage, DuckTales the Movie, Aladdin: The Series and The Mighty Ducks, among others. In 1991, Greg and his team created and developed a new series for Disney: GARGOYLES. Greg left his position as an executive to become the Supervising Producer and Supervising Story Editor of the first 66 episodes of that series. In 1996, Greg left Disney for DreamWorks Television Animation, where he also developed numerous projects.

In October of '98, Greg left DreamWorks to become a full-time Freelance Writer, Story Editor, Producer, Voice Director and Voice Actor. He has written scripts for Men In Black, Disney's Hercules, Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Mummy, Kim Possible, The Batman, Alien Racers, Ben Ten, Bionicle: Mask of Light, Legion of Super Heroes, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Zorro, Transformers Prime, Kaijudo, Beware the Batman, Octonauts, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers: Rescue-Bots, Shimmer & Shine and Transformers EarthSpark, among others.

A man of many talents, Greg drives trucks and is attacked by supervillains.

He has written and story edited for Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles, and he produced, wrote and story edited on both Max Steel and W.I.T.C.H. He has also voice directed the original DVD Movie, Atlantis: Milo's Return and the English dub of the Japanese anime video series 3x3 Eyes.

More recently, Greg wrote, produced, story edited and voice acted for the Sony/Marvel series, The Spectacular Spider-Man. For Disney and Lucasfilm, Greg was an executive producer, writer, story editor and voice actor on Star Wars Rebels. For Warner Bros., he wrote the Green Arrow direct-to-DVD short for DC Showcase and the Catwoman: Hunted feature film, all while producing, story editing, writing and voice acting on four seasons of the Emmy Award-winning Warner Bros. Animation/DC Comics/Cartoon Network/DC Universe/HBO MAX/MAX series, Young Justice.

Greg is also a novelist, the author of Rain of the Ghosts and its sequel, Spirits of Ash and Foam. He’s also written two World of Warcraft novels (Traveler, and Traveler: The Spiral Path) and two Magic the Gathering novels (the New York Times best-selling War of the Spark: Ravnica, and War of the Spark: Forsaken).

Greg continues to write comics for multiple companies, including SLG (Gargoyles and Gargoyles: Bad Guys), DC (Young Justice, Young Justice: Invasion, Young Justice: Targets, and The Fall and Rise of Captain Atom), Dynamite (Gargoyles, Gargoyles: The Dark Ages, Gargoyles: Quest, Gargoyles Halloween Special, and Gargoyles Winter Special), Four Horsemen (Mythic Legions), and Marvel (The Amazing Spider-Man, Starbrand & Nightmask, the New York Times best-selling Star Wars: Kanan, and The Spectacular Spider-Men).

Greg is blessed to have a wonderful wife and two amazing (adult) kids.
