I'm hesitant to put anything about this in the wiki itself until it's a done deal and the last issues have been released, but I'm open to alternate opinions.  Sorry if I'm ruining anyone's morning.  -- [[User:Demonskrye|Demonskrye]] 08:14, 28 July 2008 (CDT)

In case anyone hasn't heard the bad news yet, it was announced at the San Diego Comic Con that SLG will not be renewing the "Gargoyles" license because the price was too high. Whether Disney actually raised the licensing fee or SLG just couldn't afford it because of low sales on the comics, rising costs, or both, is currently unknown. The twelve issue "Clan Building" arc and the "Bad Guys" miniseries will both be finished out, either as single issues or in trade form, depending on when they get finished.
