For other uses of the name, see The Gathering.

The Gathering of the Gargoyles Guild is a pro-gargoyle organization that sprang up shortly after the outcome of Goliath's hearing.

History

Following Goliath's hearing, the Gathering of the Gargoyles Guild was founded by Ruby-Mae Li and other humans that met on the internet that held their first convention in 1997 at the Park Manor Hotel and invited Goliath to speak. Antoinette Dracon, living upstairs in the penthouse suite, attended Goliath's lecture. Tobe Crest, Goliath's attorney, was similarly invited to speak.

John Castaway protested the event outdoors and at least one individual heeding his words attempted to disrupt the event by committing a mass shooting only to be stopped by Elisa Maza and Goliath. ("Questions")

Real World Background

The Gathering of the Gargoyles Guild is a tribute to the Gathering of the Gargoyles, the fan convention originally set up by Mae Li in 1997 which ran until 2009.
