After [[Demona]] cast her [[Stone By Night Spell]] over the citizens of [[New York City]], [[Owen Burnett]] reported that the spell was designed to end when the skies burned. [[David Xanatos]] and Owen quickly set out to discover a scientific means to accomplish this and arrived at flying several [[Steel Clan]] robots over the city carrying packs of hypergolic gas. The packs were rigged to dispense gas through the skies and after a twenty-five minute countdown, the packs would detonate and the sky would appear to be on fire. 

Xanatos and Owen welded several packs to the torsos of the robots while the [[Manhattan Clan]], who arrived to participate in this endeavor wore packs strapped to their chests.
