Jove believes that the New Olympians should rule over humanity and be worshipped by them, even as their ancestors the Olympians were, and will form a faction dedicated to that goal after New Olympus makes contact with the outside world, Helios and a son of Boreas being among his followers. Jove is one of the more human-like New Olympians, whose unique feature is the power to hurl lightning bolts.
Real World History
Jove is named after an alternate name of Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of Zeus. (This Jove is most familiar to the modern world through the stereotypically British oath, "By Jove!").
