Madame Serena was a character who appeared in the first draft outline that Michael Reaves wrote for "Reawakening". She was "some kinda psychic or gypsey or witch (or all of the above)" fortune teller. Greg Weisman cut her from the story because he felt the character didn't fit in and then they all kind of forgot about her. [1]
