New picture?

Do you all think that we should change Shari's picture on her wiki page to the one used for the feature? The one we have now has Sevarius's elbow in the way... ~ lonerider26

Personally, I think the picture should remain the same as it is for now. It is in color, which is nice, especially on that character's page. It shows a more or less full body angle of the character, which is excellent. And I also think that the Feature Articles should have different pictures most of the time, as it makes them more unique and visually interesting. So I guess I wouldn't have any problems with putting a new picture of Shari on her page as long as it was a good picture and preferably different from the Feature picture. If someone wants to pull one up, great, but we have a lot of pages still needing a first picture, so I'd say it was a low priority. -- Matt 21:44, 16 October 2008 (CDT)

Also, it looked like Shari's style has changed since that picture. In the Bad Guys pic, her shirt is longer. So, either Karine changed it, or she forgot how long it was. ~ lonerider26

Appearances

How do we want to list appearances for characters that appear in prose? I think Shari "appears" in "The Reach", but we don't see here, but she talks, so it is kind of tricky. Maybe something like - The Reach - (Spoke in Prose) or something. Gets even trickier with someone like Mary who is mentioned only in prose form but has no lines! -- Matt (talk) 07:50, 13 July 2023 (PDT)

Yes, happy to have these troubles. I'm hoping Disney+ just decides to give 2198 a try or something. One can dream. Anyway, maybe we just keep it simple and say Shari appeared here and Mary appeared (mentioned only)? Given the different medium, I'm ok with Shari getting the appearance credit (and Mary getting the Mentioned Only, but the "Lead Player" getting a full appearance given his brief actions in the prologue). It also occurs to me that we could treat the appearances of characters in prose not dissimilarly to how we did with all the characters that appeared in Shari's stories in the Stone of Destiny arc. Retitling

Should we rename this page Shahrizad? Because it occurs to me that we haven't once heard her called "Shari" in the entire Dynamite run. But we've been hearing Shahrizad a lot. --GregX (talk) 21:34, 14 May 2024 (PDT)
