The Battle of Alnwick was a battle near the village of Alnwick between the forces of Malcolm III and Robert de Mowbray. During the battle, Malcolm's heir, Edward, was slain in battle. Malcolm fled only to be confronted by the gargoyle, Demona, and killed by her. Arkil Morel took credit for the slaying.
In the aftermath, Scotland fell into chaos as Canmore's brother and children fought for the throne, while Donald Canmore restarted the line of Hunters. ("Fools Rush In...")
