On August 12th, 2025, a little Golden Book published a 24-page adaptation of Gargoyles, covering events from "Awakening: Part One" to "The Gathering" Part One. It was written by Matthew J. Gilbert and Greg Weisman and illustrated by Shane Clester.
Summary
After covering the events of the "Awakening" five-parter, the book references events from "Temptation", "Reawakening", "Metamorphosis", "The Cage", and "Avalon" Part One, before ending with the World Travelers returning to Manhattan.
The adaptation includes a wide cast of characters, featuring not only the Manhattan Clan, but Captain of the Guard, Princess Katharine, Hakon, Tom (as a boy and adult), Billy, Susan and their parents Sarah Browne and William Greene, the three Street Thugs, David Xanatos, Demona, Coldstone, the Steel Clan, the Mutates, Gabriel, and Boudicca.
