Nate Cosby is an editor at Dynamite Entertainment overseeing various books, including Gargoyles and Gargoyles: Dark Ages.

After switching majors, Cosby attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he received his B.F.A. video and film in 2004 and his M.F.A. in film and television in 2008. During his time there, the school had just started a sequential art department and he took every art course he could, "just to try to learn about storytelling". [1] He later moved to New York to work in production and script writing and eventually found himself as an intern at Marvel Comics before becoming an Assistant Editor there.

In 2013, Cosby was nominated for an Eisner Award for his work on Cow Boy: A Boy and his Horse with the Archaia Entertainment, a Boom! Studios imprint. [2] It was during this time that he also began work at Dynamite Entertainment as a writer and later as an editor. When he learned of the available properties that were Dynamite acquired the license to, "I looked through the list and I got to the G's and stopped looking because all I wanted to do was Gargoyles." From there, Christopher Jones introduced him to Greg Weisman. [3]

His favorite character is Bronx. [4]. Greg Weisman has not included nearly as much of Bronx in the book as Nate would like. As such, he co-wrote "Bronx" with Weisman, which featured the beloved Gargoyle Beast.
