Tom DeFalco was the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics from 1987 to 1994. During his tenure as EiC, Marvel acquired the license to publish the non-canonical eleven issue Gargoyles series. His wife, Hildy Mesnik, was the editor on the book.
