Inside the Newsletter

The first promotion, "Defenders of the Night" began in February 1995, featuring four toys. The first was a color transformer cup, a "Spin-To-Life" Goliath, a color mutation Broadway, and a Gargoyles mini-pop-up book. [1] [2] The promotion was tied to the recent release of the Gargoyles The Movie: The Heroes Awaken, offering a two dollar rebate for the home video at the restaurant. [3]

Later in October 1995, a second promotion, "Stone Warriors", featured five additional toys: Spin-Attack Broadway, a Sparkling Spinner, a Spectoscope, a Mini-Viewer, and a Bronx Launcher. [4] This promotion tied into their annual Halloween bucket, which featured a Broadway lid where candy could be dropped into his mouth (sold separately for ninety-nine cents). [5]
