Roddy McDowall (1928 - 1998) was the voice actor for the villain New Olympian, Proteus.
He played a character villain, the Bookworm, in the camp 1960s TV series Batman and had an acclaimed recurring role as The Mad Hatter in Batman: The Animated Series as well. In the 1948 movie Macbeth, he played the part of Malcolm Canmore.
He also provided the voice of Sir Quackmire Mallard in the Darkwing Duck episode, "Inherit the Wimp".
