Mount Thanatos is a mountain on the hidden island of New Olympus. It is the home of the New Olympian Clan of gargoyles. [1]
The mountain's name is derived from "Thanatos", the personification of death in Greek mythology (and thus its etymology is shared by the name Xanatos). [2]
