The Clone Wars were a past conflict in Puck's "Future Tense" vision in which Thailog was slain, having occurred somewhere between 1996 and 2036. Puck (through Brooklyn) made the event up on the spot to belatedly explain Thailog's absence from Demona's life. Presumably, Puck had seen the "Star Wars" trilogy.
However, given Thailog's recent attack on Castle Wyvern to collect DNA samples from the Manhattan Clan, as well as this response from Greg Weisman; Puck might have been more accurate than even he thought.
