But even if he doesn't, I tend to think of a rogue gargoyle as one who leaves the clan and is alone, whether by choice, decree of the clan, or outside circumstances. - I don't think it quite fits. Certainly he did leave his clan in a way that means they're probably not on good terms, but he left to join Thailog, who could have plans for some kind of clan of his own. But even if he doesn't, I tend to think of a rogue gargoyle as one who leaves the clan and is alone, whether by choice, decree of the clan, or outside circumstances.
