Gargoyles is a comic book series published by Dynamite Entertainment. It continues the story of the Gargoyles television series after the end of season two and the Gargoyles comics by Slave Labor Graphics. The first issue, "A Little Crazy" was released in December 2022, over thirteen years after the last canonical issue was released, and picking the story up four months after the events of "Phoenix". [1]

Due to the success of the flagship comic Gargoyles, Dynamite Entertainment released the spin-off Gargoyles: Dark Ages in 2023 with the miniseries, Alliance. Following the conclusion of the first arc, Here in Manhattan, the next arc, titled Quest, began in 2024. [2][3]

Issues are written by Greg Weisman, and follow his Master Plan for the Gargoyles Universe.

For Here in Manhattan, David Nakayama was the artist for the main covers, with series pencil and color artist George Kambadais also contributing to one of the many variant covers available. Clayton Crain, who also did variant covers for the first arc, became the cover artist for Gargoyles: Quest. Frank Paur is anticipated to provide the interior artwork for the next arc of the series, beginning with Gargoyles: Demona Issue 0 for Free Comic Book Day.

Matteo Lolli was the cover artist for "Trick-Or-Treat", the Halloween Special. Kambadais returned for the Winter Special, "Bronx's Silent Night", with Jae Lee and June Chung providing the main cover.

Other variant cover artists for the comic and its specials include Mirka Andolfo, June Chung, Rose Besch, BossLogic, Brett Breeding, Jeremy Clark, Amanda Conner, Johnny Desjardins, Chris Eliopoulos, Tony Fleecs, Trish Forstner, Greg Guler, Ken Haeser, Eric Henson, Matt Horak, Dan Jurgens, Ryan Kincaid, Tyler Kirkham, Lesly "Leirix" Li, Joe Madureira, Marco Mastrazzo, Mel Milton, Drew Moss, Marat Mychaels, Dan Parent, Lucio Parillo, Rebecca Puebla, Miriana Puglia, Davis Rider, Mike Rooth, Craig Rousseau, Brent Schoonover, Alberto Silva, Peter Smith, Ivan Tao, and Jose Villarubia.
