The Warwolf was a trebuchet used by Edward I during his invasion of Scotland in the early 14th Century. ("Rock of Ages")
Real World Background
The Warwolf was one of several trebuchets in Edward I's army; others were named Gloucester, Parson, Segrave, and Vicar. He employed it at the siege of Stirling Castle in 1304. Since the garrison surrendered before he was able to utilize it, he ordered some of the defenders back into the castle afterwards, just to see it in action; he demolished the castle gatehouse with it.
