Future Tense

Future Tense was an episode in the latter half of the second season of Gargoyles. In this episode, the trickster, Puck, attempted to get the Phoenix Gate from Goliath to avoid Oberon's Gathering on Avalon. He did this by creating an illusion of a nightmarish future. Puck's actions prompted Goliath to throw the Phoenix gate into the Time Stream, which would eventually lead to Brooklyn's adventures as the Timedancer.
