Scone

Scone was the original home of the Stone of Destiny in Scotland.

Real-World History

The kings of Scotland, beginning with Kenneth mac Alpin, were crowned upon the Stone of Destiny at Scone, until it was taken by the English in 1296.

In the late 10th century, there was a gargoyle clan at Scone, though we know as yet nothing about it. It was presumably destroyed by 1057.
