CIT Source?

So I've swam pretty thoroughly through the AskGreg archives (including the Comment Room's), and the closest thing I've seen to a citation for Thoth creating the Scroll of Thoth is this question from early 2000 (which really only hints at it).

So, might anybody know of a proper source for this bit of canon-in-training? Perhaps at a Gathering prior to 2000? --Pheon 20:55, 28 June 2015 (PDT)
