Should we have a Minotaur (species) page as well as this one? We could call it something different if we're considering the species of Taurus and his kin to be New Olympian. It just seems to me that we have three known minotaurs in the Gargoyles Universe, so it imght be worthwhile to have an article about minotaurs in general. - Demonskrye 10:32, 27 December 2008 (CST)
- I was going to ask who the third one was, but I'm assuming the three you refer to are Taurus, his father and the original Minotaur. Right? Forgive me, because it's been a LONG time since I've seen the episode, but did we ever see what Taurus' dad looks like? Did Proteus take his form or something, or was there a picture? If not, are we certain that Taurus' dad was a minotaur (or at least minotaur-looking), or might he have inherited his appearance from his mother (for example)? -- Supermorff 17:00, 27 December 2008 (CST)
- Yes, those are the three and I'm assuming that Proteus is doing an accurate interpretation of what Taurus's father looked like when he shapeshifts (mainly because I can't think of any reason why he wouldn't.) So far as I'm aware, we don't really know anything about how New Olympians' appearances are effected by their parents' looks or other factors. But given that Taurus and his father evidently looked very similar and both of them look pretty close to descriptions of the legendary Greek Minotaur, it may be safe to call minotaurs a distinct race or subspecies. - Demonskrye 07:54, 28 December 2008 (CST)
