The American Museum of Natural History is a New York museum, standing on Central Park West and E 79th Street.
History
It contains about 36 million artifacts, ranging from dinosaur bones to meteorites to displays on the native peoples of South America, Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. The Mayan Sun Amulet was kept here on display after it was brought to New York, until Hyena attempted to steal it, and Broadway and Lexington afterwards removed it to the clock tower to keep it safe.
