"The Mirror" is the eighteenth televised episode of the series Gargoyles, and the fifth episode of Season Two. It originally aired on September 11, 1995. It is widely regarded as one of the best episodes of Gargoyles produced to date and is extremely popular among fans. Greg Weisman also considers it to be one of his favorite episodes and one that he is most proud of.

"The Mirror" accomplished a huge amount of storytelling in a mere twenty-two minutes. Puck was introduced in the episode, and thus by extension, so was the entire Third Race. The relationship between Elisa Maza and Goliath was advanced. And Demona undergoes a dramatic and permanent change. The episode is filled with humor, action and drama and the animation is superb.
