Eochaid was a king in ancient Ireland.
History
According to a story told by Shari, Eochaid took Princess Tamar Tea Tephi of Judah to wife when she and the prophet Jeremiah came to Ireland. Jeremiah gave the king the Stone of Destiny as a dowry; Eochaid had it set up at Tara and named it the Lia Fáil. ("Rock & Roll")
