Clive was a pilot in the Royal Air Force.
History
Clive served in the same squadron as Douglas Bader in 1940 above London in the Battle of Britain. Bader asked him if he'd seen gargoyles in the sky, but Clive said he'd seen nothing. He's later shot out of the sky by one of the Luftwaffe, but is rescued by Griff. He promptly passes out as soon as Griff asks if he needs a lift. Griff dropped Clive off on a nearby roof, before hurrying back to help Goliath. ("M.I.A.")
