The Claremont Arch is a pedestrian path under the 90th Street entrance to Central Park.
History
In 1997, Bronx and Lance found Emmy under the arch after she had given birth to her kittens. ("Bronx")
Real World Background
Claremont Arch was built by 1890. Unlike its depiction in the series, the span under the Claremont Arch is blocked off by iron gates. [1]
