Ruaidri was the father of Findlaech and Maíl Brigti, and High Steward of Castle Moray during the 10th Century.
History
Ruaidri fathered Maíl Brigti in 962 upon a peasant woman, and because of her low estate, Ruaidri left all his lands and wealth to his younger son (presumably fathered upon a woman of noble birth), Findlaech – much to Maíl Brigti's anger. [1]
