Freakazoid! is an American animated television series created by Steven Spielberg, Bruce Timm, and Paul Dini for the Kids' WB programming block of The WB. The series chronicles the adventures of the title character, Freakazoid, a manic, insane superhero who battles with an array of super villains. The show also features mini-episodes of adventures of other bizarre superheroes.
The series aired from 1995 to 1997.

References to Gargoyles in Freakazoid!
- In "Freakazoid Is History" Freakazoid can be seen perched on top of a gargoyle statue resembling Goliath. As the gargoyle is telling Freakazoid his lifestory, Freakzoid offers him a pez dispenser to stop talking.
- An episode was produced titled "The Lawn Gnomes" about a race of Lawn Gnomes (going all the way back to Denmark in the year 995) who are cursed to turn to stone during the day because they caused too much mischief.
