Demona's Armor is a series of various types of armor she wore at various points throughout her long life.


History

1093

Demona's armor in 1093.

In 1093, by the time Demona had crossed Hadrian's Wall into Northumbria, she had taken to wearing chainmail along with shoulder pauldrons, gauntlets, and shin coverings. She wore this armor when she slayed Canmore and adopted Angelika. ("Fools Rush In...)

1108 to 1111

By 1108, Demona had adopted a more Viking-esque armor composed of leather and furs when she and Angelika traveled to Norway and crewed the flagship of Sigurd Magnusson. ("Fortune Favors the Brave...")


1138

By 1138, Demona upgraded her armor to a more gothic plate style when she and Angelika briefly settled in Vyones, France. ("For Not Everything With Wings...")

1997

In 1997, Demona once again donned the original chainmail armor she wore in 1093 when she attacked the Metropolitan Museum of Art to retrieve a Gold Locket as a memento of Angelika. ("A Prize Beyond Compare...")

Production Background

In the years after Gargoyles ended, Frank Paur still continued to occasionally draw the characters - especially Demona. Over the years, Frank would post new designs for Demona wearing various suits of armor and other costumes throughout the centuries on his Facebook and Instagram accounts.
