The Gold Locket in 1997.

The Gold Locket was a Norse artifact.

History

At an unknown point in the past, the Gold Locket belonged to Demona and Angelika. It was discovered in Japan and put on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan for its Vikings in Japan exhibit, next to Odin's Shield. Demona successfully stole the locket, while tricking the Manhattan Clan into believing she was after the shield. Demona returned to her townhouse with the locket, tearfully satisfied to have reacquired this reminder of someone whom she once loved. ("A Prize Beyond Compare...")

Characteristics

The prize within.

The Gold Locket was a simple locket of gold, but otherwise considered unremarkable compared to the other items in the exhibit. However, for Demona, it was a prize beyond compare for inside the locket were two locks of hair intertwined belonging to her and Angelika. The locket might not have been a magical talisman, but for Demona the sentimental attachment was priceless.
