(I'm inclined to think we have two people here -- a radio DJ (someone who comments) and a radio announcer (someone who reports). But I figured I'd make the page and we can talk about splitting later. And perhaps discuss more accurate names.)

The Radio Announcer is a human that works for a ratio station in the New York City area. Admittedly, they may or may not be the same person.

History

At the Eyrie Building on on Halloween night in 1996, a radio announcer commented about the most popular costume that year – gargoyles – in the wake of discovering that Manhattan was (in the announcer's words) "infested with real monsters". The radio announcer, however, was quick to dismiss anyone out during the festivities from encountering a real gargoyle. "It's not like the beasties can talk", the announcer concluded, and figured that anyone witnessing a gargoyle trick-or-treating would probably be safe. ("Invitation Only")

Months later, in May 1997, Dino Dracon and Glasses were listening to the radio when an announcer reported Brooklyn's rescue attempt to free Goliath from Rikers Island, describing it as "the creature's attempted escape" before the announcer segued into reports about the retaliatory attacks from the Choi and Sanchez families that Dino had been anticipating.
