Sensei

Sensei was a prominent member of the Ishimura Clan of gargoyles in the 13th century.

History

Sensei was hatched in 1178 with her rookery brothers and sisters in Ishimura, Japan. By 1274, she rose to prominence in her clan and conducted Magni's Wind Ceremony. She also participated in teaching the gargoyles and humans of Ishimura the way of the Samurai - both how to fight as well as codes of conduct.

When Angelika fell, Sensei knew she didn't have much time and dispatched Angelika's protégé to summon Demona to her elderly daughter's side. But Sensei and Demona were soon called away when Hagane's band of ninjas - under the employ of the Hunter, Siobhan Canmore - attacked. During the battle, Sensei personally slew Hagane. Sensei and Demona returned to the temple to find that Angelika had passed away during their absence. Demona cried out in grief and rage, blaming the Hunter and all of humanity for denying her her last moments with her daughter. Sensei tried to calm Demona, reminding the immortal that this wasn't what Angelika had wanted for her - but to no avail.
