Lennox is a character in William Shakespeare's Macbeth.
History
In 1995, Hudson was able to figure out that it was Macbeth that took one of the Scrolls of Merlin with the help of Jeffrey Robbins, who pointed out to the gargoyle that the man he met earlier that day – "Lennox Macduff" – used two names from the Shakespeare tragedy for his alias. Macbeth has also used the alias "Lennox Macbeth" for his French passport. ("A Lighthouse in the Sea of Time", "Sanctuary") [1]
Like Macduff, Macbeth probably knew a historical Lennox as well, in "one form or another". [2]
