Elgin
Elgin is a town in Moray, Scotland. In 1040, the Battle of Bothgoanan took place near Elgin. [1]
Real World Background
Under English rule, Edward I traveled to Elgin twice, first in 1296 and later in 1303. During the Scottish War of Independence, Robert the Bruce attacked Elgin in 1308.
