Katana - A gargoyle of the Ishimura Clan in feudal Japan and later a member of the Manhattan Clan.Brooklyn’s future mate, whom he will meet during his Timedancer adventures.
History
Katana was hatched at an unspecified time Japan, though it is known that it was at some point during Japan's feudal period. Most likely she was trained in Bushido and learned to wield a Japanese sword, a katana, from which she derives her name. Several decades after her hatching, Brooklyn arrives during his Timedancer travels and the two gargoyles eventually decide to become mates. Katana continues on the quest with Brooklyn to return to his home from that point onward. She and Brooklyn will have at least two children: Nashville and Tachi, and she will become a part of the Manhattan Clan after Brooklyn’s return to the Eyrie Building.
Characteristics
Almost nothing is known about Katana's physical features, though as a gargoyle of the Ishimura Clan she likely shares some of the regional anatomical pecularities common among that clan, such as black hair, and a reduction or increase in wing, finger and toe digits. This is only speculation however.
