Tad Stones was a writer and producer at Walt Disney Television Animation. His notable credits include producing "Darkwing Duck," "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers," "Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears," "Disney's Hercules," and "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command." He also produced the unmade "Team Atlantis" series.
His major contribution to "Gargoyles" was when he suggested that a "big, heroic gargoyle" be added to the cast. From that suggestion, Greg Weisman created Goliath.
