Tad Stones
Tad Stones was a writer and producer at Walt Disney Television Animation. His notable credits include producing Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Aladdin, Disney's Hercules and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He also produced the unmade Team Atlantis series. [1] Stones also story editor for the DuckTales (1987) special "A DuckTales Valentine (Amour or Less)" and the producer of the Quack Pack episode "Ducky Dearest". He penned the second story of Darkwing Duck Annual #1 in 2011.
His major contribution to Gargoyles was when he suggested that a "big, heroic gargoyle" be added to the cast as a dramatic male lead. From that suggestion, Greg Weisman created Goliath. [2] Tad Stones was instrumental in the shift of the development from a primarily comedic to a dramatic series. [3]
In 2006, Tad Stones attended the Gathering of the Gargoyles.
Stones also voiced a security guard in the DuckTales (2017) episode "The Duck Knight Returns".
