Galactic War

The Galactic War is the interstellar conflict that led Nokkar of the N'Kai to watch over the Earth as Sentinel on Rapa Nui. ("Sentinel")

History

Centuries ago (as Earth measures it), the Space-Spawn began to expand their empire and began to do so "without asking for volunteers". [1][2] On March 21st, 2198, the Space-Spawn's conquest will lead to the abduction of Earth's world leaders, human and gargoyle alike. [3] The planet and its colonies in the solar system will also be forced to surrender. [4] By the time Earth becomes involved in 2198, the Space-Spawn are clearly winning the war, controlling the most territory. [5] The N'Kai do not have the means of liberating Earth. [6]

Currently, the N'Kai, Space-Spawn, and a third extraterrestrial race are involved in this conflict. [7] Whether or not they are allied with the N'Kai or the Space-Spawn is considered "complicated". [8] Before the war started, this third race was prevalent throughout the galaxy, but by no means were they in charge. Humans and gargoyles will be the fourth and fifth races to enter the conflict as major players. [9]

Less than twenty other alien races are involved in the conflict, some of which are capable of interstellar travel. [10][11][12]
