Stone in Edinburgh

The Stone in Edinburgh was one of the names of the Stone of Destiny. ("Rock of Ages")

This title referred to its residence in Edinburgh Castle after it was returned to Scotland in 1996.

Real World Background

The Stone would remain in Edinburgh until 2023, when it was used for Charles III's coronation in Westminster Abbey. It returned to Scotland once more afterwards, and later moved to Perth in 2024. [1]
