I like the idea of going with the color for the background of Greg's responses at Ask Greg, since that's we're getting all the C-i-T info from. However, I can't figure out exactly what color that is (maybe someone else can find out?), so I'll list some colors that look good, and we can vote on these or other colors.

Royal Purple

Generic Purple

Electric Purple

Purple (HTML)

Internet Purple

Electric Indigo

Blue Violet

Okay, I think that's enough shades of purple. --Moeen 12:59, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

I think the green color from Greg's rambles would be too close to the color of clicked links.

Although purple is my favorite color, I still prefer cornflower blue for CiT. Don't know why. -- Vaevictis Asmadi 13:30, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

Actually I was thinking not of the green of Greg's Rambles, but the bluish of Greg's Responses. :-) --Moeen 13:32, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

To me, Greg's AskGreg responses look distinctly blue, not purple. That said, we could still use a purple colour if we think it would be the best choice. But let's rule out Generic and Royal Purple right now. Too dark. Also, I just don't like Purple (HTML), but that's a personal preference. -- Supermorff 10:42, 8 September 2007 (CDT)

I have restored the cornflower blue colour. We can still change the colour at any time, if we can come to an agreement on what to change it to. -- Supermorff 12:37, 8 September 2007 (CDT)
Cornflower blue is fine, though it would be nice if we knew what shade of blue the AskGreg Responses is, and the overall color scheme on that site does have some purplish elements. If we don't find out the color exactly I'm happy to leave the template as it is. --Moeen 12:50, 8 September 2007 (CDT)
