Australian Facility (Xanatos Enterprises)
The Australian Facility is a Xanatos Enterprises laboratory based in the Northern Territory of Australia.
History
In 1996, Anastasia Renard and Fox developed the Nanobots and operating system that led to the creation known as Matrix. After initial tests proved the Matrix to be unresponsive, Renard and Fox attempted to start the project from scratch, but failed to do so when Matrix escaped its containment chamber. Ultimately, the facility was destroyed by Matrix under its original understanding of creating order. ("Walkabout")
Characteristics
The main laboratory featured remote arm manipulators and a containment chamber with a magnetically sealed vat to contain Matrix. In addition to having the capabilities to develop an artificially intelligent hive-mind like the Matrix, the facility was powered by a nuclear plant and had a hanger.
