Tokyo is one of 47 prefectures of Japan and the country's de facto capital. Comprising 23 special wards, each governed as a city, it is the largest metropolitan area in the world, with over 30 million residents.
History
After betraying Clan Ishimura, the gargoyle Yama was banished from Ishimura. For a time he lived alone in Tokyo, until Hunter and the Redemption Squad arrived in November 1996 to offer him a position on the team.
