Angus Canmore was an ancestor of John Castaway (specifically, he was the great-grandfather of Fiona and Jackson Canmore). [1] He wrote a book about gargoyles that painted a grim picture of them in the 19th Century, describing them as "unholy beasts". This indicates that he was either a Hunter himself or was at least influenced by his family's negative view of gargoyles. ("The Last", "Your Witness")
Milo Thatch was a fan.
