The library is one of the larger chambers of Castle Wyvern. It was modernized by David Xanatos when he rebuilt it atop the Eyrie Building.
History
During the Dark Ages, following the library's construction, and after being taught to read by Angel, Goliath would often retreat to the library to read and learn. The library also became a sanctuary for him upon awakening in 1994, Manhattan. ("Enter Macbeth")
In 1995, Xanatos was relaxing in the library when Owen Burnett reported that Anton Sevarius had disappeared. ("The Cage")
Shortly after the Manhattan Clan moved back in the castle, Broadway continued his reading lessons in the library but was distracted by the fact that Goliath was missing. Angela was even more distressed that the humans of the city hated them so much, but Broadway comforted her with his belief that some day humans and gargoyles would live together in harmony and then they shared their first kiss. ("The Journey")
The library also became a refuge for Lexington upon returning to Manhattan from London, spending as much of his free time chatting with Staghart as possible. ("Render Unto Caesar")
Characteristics
The library is massive. Broadway even told Angela that it was better than the castle's kitchens. It features at least two levels and a computer lab that Lexington often makes use of. David Xanatos himself has been known to relax here.
Given the rounded shape of the room, the library is likely located in one of the towers.
